About the Project
The Crucible (Las brujas de Salem) was documented across two live theatrical performances at Conservatorio de Actuación in Mexico City in 2023. Pavel Rosas photographed and filmed the production, working within the constraints of a live performance environment to capture both intimate character moments and the broader spatial dynamics of the ensemble.
The resulting visual documentation focuses on gesture, tension, expression and the relationship between performers and audience throughout the production.
